A healthy lifestyle also means a better nutrition. We all know what is good and what is not good for our body. It should be easy to decide what to eat. So, I wonder why we don’t it.
I am a believer that everything has to do with our mind. When you make a decision, there is no turning back.
I quit pop more than 5 years ago. And believe me, I don’t miss it at all!
November 19th will mark one year without drinking coffee. And believe me, I don’t miss it!
I have done so many diets in my life… I have lost weight and then gain some back… I’ve been up and down so many times… but, why can’t I maintain it?
A week and a half ago I decided it was time to change my eating habits and more than being on a diet I need to learn how to eat… Acquiring new habits and giving my body what it needs.
It’s been an interesting week where I have diverse meals and instead of counting calories I am focusing on how many proteins, carbs, fats, I am eating every day.
It seems easy but when you want to stay low on carbs you realize that almost EVERYTHING has them… that’s when I need to be creative.
I have discovered new recipes, I have cooked differently, I even through away things in my pantry and refrigerator… My body feels good… I feel good.
Making changes is not easy, but it is a skill that we can learn and practice.
I will let you know how I am doing!
This is just starting!
