I embarked in a new adventure a few weeks ago.

I decided in my mind it was time to really focus on healthy eating and it’s been a journey I am loving.

I have chosen to eat more balanced, so I am focusing on reaching a daily goal when it comes to fats, carbs and proteins.

It sounds so easy….  But when I started journaling what I eat then I realize most of my meals are full of carbs and I needed to make some changes.

Reaching my protein goal, it’s been challenging although I am learning and getting better every day.  Besides eggs, meats, fish, some dairy and plant based protein like beans, lentils, hummus…. I have found a great way to give more protein to my body in a form of a shake which is mostly protein.

So, when my day needs more protein I reach for my Pure Protein Complete and make myself a shake sometimes I even try a smoothie.

When in a rush I just mix my shake with some water…. but when I have time I will try a smoothie.

This is one of my favorite smoothie recipes so far….

4 oz. of Unsweetened Coconut milk
4 oz. of water
½ banana
1 teaspoon of chia seeds
1 drop of Lemon Vitality essential oil
1 scoop of Vanilla Spice Pure Protein Complete

Start journaling, find your way to eat balanced and try to supplement with different options. A protein shake has worked for me but you can find your own way and enjoy the journey.
